Linen a sustainable fabric.

Linen is an amazing fabric, its not only wonderful to wear, but is also the oldest known fibre as well as the most sustainable!

Linen originally comes from the flax plant. The plants a processed through a form called retting to help separate the fibres. The retting beats down the outside and the glue holding the fibres together, which allows the fibers to be separated, spun, woven and knit.

Linen is absorbent, breathable and stronger than cotton its an extremely resilient fabric standing the test of time which not only means you need to throw out those tired tops and dresses which have lost their authentic character but its great from the environment meaning less fast fashion.
