Why We Love Linen

The oldest fabric known to man dating back to 8000bc. Linen is made from cellulose that grows inside the fibres of the flax plant. In ancient Egypt linen was used for mummification and for burial shrouds because it symbolized light and purity as well as wealth.

The fabric is extra durable compared to others and hydroscopic meaning it absorbs 20% of its weight in moisture before ever feeling wet, so it always feels fresh and cool.

Our Fenella linen is washed and tumble dried to keep it soft and drapey its one of those fabircs that gets better with age. We have modified our linen collection to take you from the office to the beach, from casual to formal. We keep our eye on creating the most flattering cuts and shapes to complement your figure.
